I noticed OFFF in Barcelona is coming up next month because of Duane Dalton recent post on his Cargo Collective. We really enjoy his work, we’ll have more from him next month. Anyone headed to OFFF this year? The schedule looks great, just went thru some of their portfolios.
Another day, another poster. I usually just do one poster for longer tours but this time around I wanted to do something specific for a couple of the shows this summer. First was the Troubadour print and now it’s this one for the July 14th Tycho show at Webster Hall in NYC.
Tickets just went on sale and you can purchase yours here
The Webster Hall print is available exclusively at the ISO50 Shop
I’ve very happy to announce that Tycho will be playing at The Troubadour in Los Angeles on June 1st, 2012. To commemorate the occasion I created a poster for the show using photos shot on my recent trip to Baja. Prints are available now at the shop. I’m planning on doing a process post on this one as soon as I get some time.
Several other Tycho live dates have just been announced (see below or check the Tycho tour page), really excited to be making it out to some new cities this time around. See you this summer!

Mike Joyce has created an excellent — and rather extensive — collection of re-imagined vintage punk / indie rock posters in the International Typographic Style. Beautiful stuff, you can even score some prints from the Swissted Shop.
So I came across this great collection of vinatge ski posters a while back, but unfortunately they were all watermarked. I really hate watermarks and try to avoid posting images containing them at all costs; but these were just too good to pass up so you’ll have to try and see past the giant “ORIGINAL SKI POSTERS” and enjoy the underlying greatness. Growing up in Sacramento I always had a thing for 70s ski culture — Tahoe was a short drive up the mountain and a lot of the style and imagery tricked down into the valley. A lot of these perfectly capture the spirit of those times for me.
So, as you may have guessed, these are all from the Original Ski Posters site, where you can purchase many of them. Sadly, these watermarked Jpegs are as close as most of us will ever get to these as they start at around £500 and go upwards of £3000. there is an open image directory here where you can grab all the images with a utility like Downthemall. A couple seem ripe for watermark removal and some of the resolutions are high enough to get a good print out of.
Beautiful halftone heavy poster work by Scott Campbell. Scott is a graphic designer & illustrator based in New Orleans. Check out more of his work here
Checked in on old favorite Network Osaka today and was reminded of what an excellent body of poster work he has amassed over the last few years. Always great to see modern designers paying homage to such classic design ideals. More over here.
