These playlists are great! It wouldn’t hurt to ask…but would there happen to be an actual cd compilation of this playlist or something similar? :)

Second that Spotify playlist idea.

Been waiting for another playlist from you lot. Once again you have delivered an awesome playlist. Will be giving it a full listen this weekend with friends.

Made a Spotify playlist for you lots. Not everything was on Spotify and I added originals where remixes weren’t available:

I’m pretty sure the Black Sabbath – Planet Caravan is actually Pantera…. Still bad ace though..!

If I can have your attention…

We make these playlist so you come and visit the site.

@KKND69 – Licensing each song would make it nearly impossible without completely losing our butts

What a beast of a playlist. I remember Jakub and Scott spinning some of these on Turntable.fm a month ago. Can’t wait to listen to it in it’s entirety!

Youth Lagoon’s “Mute” is a gorgeous track. I’m stoked to find it on the playlist. The whole album, actually, is fantastic. There are so many layers of sound on each track. I hear something new each listen.

I agree with the above comments: Make these playlists available for download, please!

This playlist is fantastic. Very nice choices :). I wanted to share with you guys some music from this guy from Ireland that I recently stumbled upon. His name is Ciaran Byrne, and he makes music very much akin to BoC, Tycho, and Ulrich Schnauss. Not sure if you had heard of him, but his stuff (which is not a lot) has had me mesmerized for the past month.

Here’s a track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=786SmuuD8WY

It’s from his album ‘Nine Lives Causeway’, which I had to order the CD directly from the label in Ireland because it was no where to be found; iTunes, Spotify, etc. His latest one, however, called ‘Galtrim’ is available on those services.

Anyway, I thought it was a find worth sharing. :)

Take care.

Wow that Levek track is ripped straight out of the Bibio playbook. I’m not complaining but wow.

What I like most about listening the playlists is rediscovering all those songs from smaller pervious posts I’d forgotten about.

Chrome Sparks – Marijuana would have to be in the top couple for coolest songs of last year.

The only thing that sucks is we’re back to a flash player so doesn’t work on my iPad. One day I will build a HTML player for all the world to emjoy

Hey there,

just a quick question: What kind of typeface did you use for the “16”. I like the numbers.

Cheers…N

This is fantastic. I agree–great to hear Pumpkins and Black Sabbath here! This playlist is better than many of the live streams/broadcasts I’ve heard. This is the way to go.

Also it Scott Hansen should read this: Dive and Past Is Prologue (Tycho) are such great records– era defining IMHO (the way MBV, Ride, Slowdive were to 90’s mainstream alt rock). Keep up the great work. Can’t wait to hear the new record.
