Did a collab limited edition print with Seth Haley (aka Com Truise) for the Tycho / Com Truise show this Saturday @ Cameo Gallery in Brooklyn. I’ll be printing some up for the show so the first serials will be available there exclusively (and as with all the shows, they will be at a discounted rate). See you in New York…
The winners in the Tycho poster + ticket giveaway (for Tycho live in SF 4/7) are in. I decided to add another winner and give everyone posters so there were a total of five posters and six tickets up for grabs. So without further adieu, the winners are:
Colin Johnston – Poster + 2 Tickets Curtis Joseph – Poster + 2 Tickets Zac Witte – Poster + 2 Tickets Christian Lawrence – Poster Cristina Dennison – Poster
Congrats to the winners, you should be receiving an email with details soon. Please get in touch (talk [at] iso50 [dot] com) if you don’t hear anything within the next few hours. Thanks to everyone for entering, hope to see you Thursday night here in San Francisco.
The Tycho San Francisco show is fast approaching and we’ve got some tickets and posters to give away. The first two winners picked will get a copy of the ISO50 Studio Edition print from the show along with two tickets. One runner-up will get two tickets.
To enter, just leave a comment on this post with a valid email address so that we can contact you. Please specify whether you can make it to the show or not, if not we’ll pass the tickets on to someone who will be in town for the show. Winners will be chosen Monday, April 3rd.
On a side note, I’ve completely re-worked the live show — stripped everything down and started from scratch including the visuals. I’ll also be playing most of the (now almost completed) new album. This should be an interesting one.
This show will be with the entire live band and we’ll be running through a lot of new material from the upcoming album (which, incidentally, is very near completion; hoping to have it wrapped up by the time of the show). We’ve been working a lot on evolving the live set and the visuals so I’m excited that we’ll be bringing all the new elements together for the first time at The Independent, which just happens to be my favorite venue in the city.
Tycho will be playing in Sacramento at SEMF on Thursday, January 27th. SEMF is the Sacramento Music Festival which, if you haven’t been, is well worth the drive. This year’s line up includes Daedelus, Dusty Brown, Little Foxes, Bonjay, Sister Crayon and many more.
As part of FITC SF (which I’ll also be speaking at) I’ll be playing a live Tycho set with the new band. It’s a private party for the conference but FITC has given me a handful of guest list spots to give out (all FITC attendees already get it, so don’t enter if you already have a pass for the conference). The show will be the night of August 18th, here in San Francisco. If you’d like to go, email fitc@iso50.com with “FITC Party” in the subject. We’ll pick some addresses and let you know if you won. Good luck!
