Actually, that’s not an hotel room.
That’s Nakagin Capsule Tower in Tokyo and it was mainly residential, having also office space.

i don’t know who will be watching the T.V. when it is so high up. But i like the submarine like door.

I love this building. I actually attempted my first ever 3D modelling project based on it: http://kodama...ion-week-11/
First – and last – ever 3D modelling project. I’ve realised that it’s really not my calling. It’s a world that’s way too intense for me. It was amazing to look at the floor plans for that building though.
And there was talk of it being demolished in favour of glass skyrises! Makes me want to cry.

As a college student, I can definitely say I would live there. If only American dorms were designed like that.
It kind of reminds me of Bruce Willis’ apartment in The 5th Element.
Just slightly cleaner.
