Japan / Australia ’19 Posters
Been a while! Back on the road and did some posters for the Fuji Rock and Sydney Opera House Tycho shows. US tour starts Sep. 5 in LA, more info at https://tychomusic.com/home/#tour
We’re doing a 50% off sale on everything in the shop in for the one-year anniversary release of Awake.
Sale runs until Thursday morning at 8AM PST. Get on it now, prices haven’t been this good since…ever. A great time to fill in your Tycho collection or get those t-shirts/prints/studio editions you’ve been drooling over.
Stumbled upon these cool posters by Ahmed Youness. They aren’t actually 80’s vintage but they do look the part.

I first noticed Sydney-based design duo WBYK’s work on my recent trip to Australia for the Tycho tour. I was at the Metro Theater and the poster for a run of Best Coast shows immediately caught my eye. Once I got home and did a little more research I was really impressed by the depth of work in WBYK’s portfolio. I was also very surprised that their work somehow slipped by me for 7 years. Lots more good stuff over at their portfolio, some of the more exciting poster art I’ve seen in a while.
For those in the Austin, TX area, WBYK are having a gallery exhibit at Mondo through January 5th
I don’t know anything about these other than that they are apparently Hungarian Star Wars posters, they don’t make me think of Star Wars at all, and they are kind of scary. Other than that they’re awesome.

I’ve been waiting for a long time for this show and it’s finally here. Wedsnesday will be the first Tycho show in Boulder, CO and we’re all really excited. So excited that I created a poster specifically for the show. This also marks the first time I’ve designed a print from start to finish on the road (been out here for a few weeks now). The show will be with The Album Leaf at The Fox Theater this Wednesday, September 26th, 2012. Details and tickets here, hope to see you out!
We’re in the home stretch of our Fall Tour with only a handful of dates left. This will likely be the last full Tycho tour for a while as I plan to head back to the studio to work on new material. Thanks to everyone who’s made this past year so special, we’ve had an incredible time travelling around seeing so many wonderful people and places. Hope to see you all again soon!
Been a great run so far out here, heading in to the home stretch. We’re playing The Trocadero in Philadelphia with The Album Leaf this Saturday and have a couple of tickets up for grabs. Email aegphillycontests [at] aeglive.com with your first/last name and subject line TYCHO for a chance to win.
Just rolled in to Charlottesville for the show tonight at The Jefferson Theater, see you soon!
