Charissa says:
November 1, 2010 at 8:00 pmMy favorite has to be Working for a Nuclear Free City-Quiet Place, not because it’s the first on the list, but because it’s definitely one of the more beautiful songs I’ve heard in a while.
It was a hard pick, though. This is a great playlist.
Neil says:
November 1, 2010 at 9:21 pmGreat playlist, just cycled it a few times whilst working on a project. Tuff to pick a favorite, but I really lent towards The Field – Caroline. Most of my art is done to soft beats like this, which remind me a lot of the Tycho jams. Easy to lose myself through it, all good tracks though!

November 2, 2010 at 12:36 amI actually have been listening to WFNFC for at least a year or two. A great band, and you hit the nail on the head with my favorite “Quite Place”.

J.P. says:
November 2, 2010 at 1:11 amPeter Broderick – Pulling the Rain.
[mostly because I’m a piano geek. This set, more than any other, has no single standout tracks that I wanted to play over and over; rather there were simply no bad tracks. I want to play the whole set over and over.]

November 2, 2010 at 1:47 amthanks for the playlist holmes! i am convinced that new music exposure somehow bends the fabric of time and speeds up the work day for designers. really like working for a nuclear free city, deerhunter, and of course the dining rooms.
Dan P.M. Harris says:
November 2, 2010 at 1:58 amI have loved finding new music on this site for over three years now. So much, that I was inspired recently to start a website and share music with my friends in a similar fashion.
However, I must share that I came across a new experience with this recent play list: there is a song on there that I’ve been treasuring for a couple years now. Like I said, I am typically introduced to new music on this site, which is always the fun. And I’m usually thinking JEEZE why haven’t I heard this sooner? But to hear a track so close to the heart on someone else’s play list really hit the spot today.
So today I choose ‘Back to This’ by Helio Sequence. Loved the album ‘Keep Your Eyes Ahead’. While on a road trip to California in the spring of ’09, I will always remember driving out of Las Vegas and onto that desert highway with ‘Back to This’ on our playlist, while the colors at dusk faded into the night. One of those moments where the song will always remind me of the scenery, and the scenery will always remind me of the song.
Thank you for sharing music again!
-Dan P.M. Harris

November 4, 2010 at 9:24 amThe playlist is beautiful. You guys never fail.
Even though you’ve introduced me to countless new tunes, some brilliant artists, there’s a crazy nostalgia in hearing the Bloc Party – Tulips (Remix) and remembering how that was my JAM freshman year in high school.
It was a great addition to cap off the Silent Alarm Remixed album, and is a great piece in PL10.

November 4, 2010 at 12:49 pmseams – hung markets
it has a good beat…almost circular in sound with highlights here and there. precious piece.

November 7, 2010 at 11:38 pmIt’s tough to decide between “More Surgery”, “P.S.”, and the remix of “David”, the whole playlist is very good, as usual!

November 9, 2010 at 12:35 pmI’d have to say Marc Mcguire’s – Brain is harmonizing with my brainwaves these days. Thanks for another playlist, it’s always my go-to for new music. A pleasure.

November 9, 2010 at 6:35 pmAwesome playlist as usual.
It’s a coin-flip for me between Deerhunter and The Walkmen, my two favorite releases this year. I’ll go with the Walkmen since it’s not on the album and a new listen.
Rose Duby says:
November 9, 2010 at 8:46 pmThe Dining Rooms – Costi Ti Amo would have to be my favorite, but the entire playlist is perfect. Your compilations are wonderfully chosen and well assorted. Do go on! I’ve been listening to your playlist for a little over a year now and I hardly tire myself. Voilà!

November 30, 2010 at 11:05 pmAs is almost the unanimous case, all the tracks range from fantastic to utterly sublime. However, it is Matthew Dear’s ‘More Surgery’ that is hitting all the right spots in my ears.
Thanks for the rad playlist!
