Wall-E End Credits

Art of the Title Sequence has a bunch of new material up, including an interview with the minds behind the Wall-E end credits. Looks like a staggering amount of research went into this. As usual, the results are terrific. A version is up on Youtube, but as they suggest on the site, much better to consult the Blu-Ray if you’ve got it.

June 22, 2009 at 10:47 pmI’ve watched this entire sequence twice, the whole way through, on the DVD. It’s just as inspired as the sequence from the Incredibles, but in a whole different way. I love the attention to detail that goes into Pixar’s work. These guys get both the art and the craft. As with everything, the research shines through. So much work, so much thought on stuff that is usually obligatory and throw-away. Well caught, alex.
