I’m pleased to announce that we’ll be doing a few Tycho shows later this month in Seattle, NYC, and Toronto. All the sets will include the full live band (and unless otherwise noted, all future sets will as well). Details follow, hope to see you out!
Tycho Live Dates, Sep/Oct 2010:
9/26 – Tycho w/ Tim Hecker+Sanso-Xtro – Triple Door, Seattle Tickets
9/29 – Tycho w/ Com Truise – Le Poisson Rouge, NYC Tickets
10/2 – Tycho w/ TBA – The Drake Hotel, Toronto Details

Is it going to be the full band set up again? That would be awesome. Either way I’m looking forward to it, create/sell posters!

Moogfest in Asheville, NC … I’m still wondering how Tycho is not on that list… I don’t know if you turned em down (which would be sad) or if SOMEHOW they didnt ask you to come (which would have been utterly BRAINLESS of them!) either way, I am earnestly asking the gods of music to bring you out here to the southeast.

I’m proposing a simple set up, probably one (maybe two) handheld HD’s with some audio mic’s positioned by the soundboards. This would be for a university project, and likely for free download.
Again, just a proposition, but if you’re on board I’d love to have your cooperation with the venue, any help if possible.

Last year I remember the timing got bumped from 10p to nearly 1:30AM.. Would really like to know if that is going to happen again this time around so I can plan better if possible.
