Prefab Office Pod
Posted by Jakub
My dreams have been answered, the good people at OfficePod are keeping the hopes alive for prefab dreamers by making more Prefab shelters. For a measly 15,000£ you can have this beautiful office space, seriously I want this, maybe they have layaway? or need someone to display it in Brooklyn? count me in.

January 19, 2010 at 2:11 pmSo between this, the Plastic Moon House, and the Nissan car, Moodgadget is officially outfitted to take on the world. If you can make this little thing fly that would be best, that way you can go international etc.

January 19, 2010 at 2:15 pmid put wheels on it and have it double as a car. so sweet.

January 19, 2010 at 2:26 pmI second the motion on giving this the ability to fly.
I’ve always been fascinated with the smallest possible space you could use to do anything, from living to working, to simply performing the mundane tasks of one’s day. Things as pretty and as functional as this make me giddy.

January 19, 2010 at 3:08 pmThis is absolutely genius. I wish I would have got this before I entered the graphic design program. Yeah if only they had layaway!

January 20, 2010 at 7:01 amoh man. totally want one. i would have a constant soundtrack of starship enterprise ambient noises running whenever i’d be in it.

January 20, 2010 at 2:08 pmIt’s awefully small, as stated above by ichi.one.
It looks cool, but I need room around me when I’m working.

January 24, 2010 at 3:24 amDang this is cool! I wonder if there is anything similar that is offered in the U.S.? ichi.one noted http://www.ecospacestudios.com which is just as cool and you don’t have to feel claustrophobic. As far as getting robbed or broken into I think these would be ideal for a backyard… but even then, leaving expensive equipment in it would be too risky you think?! modern…!

February 19, 2010 at 11:41 amOh!!! Beautiful!! What could be better? You can even play your music as loud as you can, close your pod and disconnect from the world! So much easier than trying to separate your home office from the real home action… just a BIT pricey!!

It looks like a rip off of the Herman Miller Aluminum Group. The legs aren’t quite right.
