The Social Network Soundtrack

If you haven’t seen The Social Network yet, I highly recommend it. Initially I was skeptical—I mean how good could a movie about Facebook possibly be? The answer is, truly inspiring. There is something about seeing success happen that triggers the “let’s make things happen” part of my brain.

Not only is the movie worth the watch, the soundtrack by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross is also worth the download. Luckily for us the sampler is available for free and the full 19-track album is only five bucks.

I saw the movie and loved it. I had already purchased the sound track as soon as I heard the samples and I gotta say it really sets the stage for the movie. A real feeling of solitude from the tracks, which is both beautiful and eerie.

I have to agree, I wasn’t sure about going to see this film but I really enjoyed and I think what helped was the soundtrack. The next time I was on computer I was straight on to Spotify to see they had it. And they did! I think my favourite track is Intriguing Possibilities.

I’m always fascinated by those “high class” clubs formed at universities, and this movie touches some of that. After watching the movie, my brain just automatically started brainstorming on the topic: “Next Big Thing On The Internet?” — still haven’t come up with anything hehe… Justin Timberlake is actually a fairly good actor, and it’s just brilliant how Mark can be such an ass, and still lovable. “I’m CEO bitch!” haha.

Listening to the first track, I cannot help but all the time wait for Damon Albarn to start singing about boys and girls.
