six37 – I was thinking this might be the last graphic focused instagram post we’ll feature, maybe not though, I really do like seeing how far six37 takes it.

sofiasternegard – There are some lovely workspace shots by sofiasternegard, nice arrangements of whats in front of her, I definitely do enjoy that as a concept for a feed.

mikeluang – With the sky as the focus, its hard to go wrong most days.

i gotta say, like on Flickr when illustrators started uploading their portfolio pieces; on Instagram i’m always more impressed with what people can do with graphic design/illustration…

much in the same way that you can take minimalism and negative space to nice places with photography on mobile phones i find the same has been achieved by a select few using design apps. As Limiting as they are and how difficult it is to do complex edits on a small screen; some surprisingly awesome feeds of graphic/photomanipulation out there! nice picks Jakub!

Any ideas on what software/apps people are using to achieve these images? (it’s surely not instagram alone).

Mr_Hausen: I know I myself usually use a combination of IG, Camera+, Diptic, Montage, and Photoforge2
I have also heard of people using apps such as ImageBlender and GridLens

But of course you also have to remember that some people will do their edits elsewhere and just use Instagram as a platform to publish them. Can be hard to tell sometimes.
