Bonobo+Beat Broker+Prommer+Deceptikon

Posted by Jakub

I know many of you will relate with me here on that you’ve been waiting for this Bonobo album, All In Forms has been on repeat since i’ve bought it, anyone have a favorite other than that? i’m more into the instrumental tracks.

Half of Broker/Dealer is back keeping the torch burning under the name The Beat Broker on the “California Soul” Sentrall label, file this under Gorgeous Pace Disco.

Trüby Trio’s Christian Prommer covers Detroit legend Carl Craig in a very light and unique
way, I definitely hear elements of Tangerine Dream and the some of the guitar loops in the middle really makes this one an enjoyable cover.

If you need more Mux Mool like ma then a heavy dose of Deceptikon will do, Mux turned me onto Mythology Of The Metropolis which is the new LP from Deceptikon, what a great month in music? an LP from Daedelus, Deceptikon, Mux Mool and Bonobo, this might break a headnodders neck.

Is it just me or does that off center white line below Bonobo’s name bother anyone else? I feel like they could have chosen a better font and nixed the line. The entire thing is so awkward for such a pretty picture.

Love the beats. Beat Broker is making me feel better about my day.

Indeed, I’ve long awaited this album as well. I’m especially enjoying Kiara and Kong. The whole album play all the way through really well…In my opinion, his best all around album yet.

I also agree with Navis on the typeface selection. Think they could have done with something a bit more fitting.

I actually really like the font choice and the fact that Bonobo is underlined. I dont think that the line is there to divide, but to give a bit more weight to Bonobo.

I think its a great album and cover.

thanks for the tunes!

Black Sands is absolutely legendary – It’s been on repeat since I got a hold of it. Kong, and then We Could Forever > 1009 > All In Forms back to back to back are my picks, but in all honesty the album should be listened to end to end, it’s just that good.

I’ve waited a couple years for a new album. Can’t wait to get it here. Bonobo is one of, if not, the most favorite artist of mine.

The Bonobo track is completely sick! You guys expose me to a lot of music I don’t normally like. The Deceptikon track is thumpin too.

I actuallly like the underline of Bonobo on the photo and the type they used. It gives me this organic feel with the curved letterforms and the weight of it doesnt take away from the photo while the underline brings heirarchy to the bandname. I dig it.

good post

I’ve been waiting for this album for so long, and I love it. I would have to say ‘El Toro’ and ‘We Could Forever’ are my faves.

Thanks for the heads up about The Beat Broker. I have been wanting to hear more new stuff from broker/dealer, but this will tie me over until the next single or album comes.

There’s nothing like “Days to come” featuring Bajka, what an amazing voice! The link between voice an instrumental is great…
