Metal Heart: Tilt-Shift Video
| Posted by Scott | 01/7/09 |
Here’s another nice example of some time-lapse tilt-shift by Keith Loutit. This one is so good it’s hard to believe that it’s real, it just looks like a big stop-action Hot Wheels diorama. The crowd shots are the hilight for me though; I’m loving those seat colors.
Keith also has a couple other good tilt-shift examples up at Vimeo: The North Wind Blew South and Helpless.

[...] where I saw them… As I was going to sleep, I came across these amazing examples on the ISO50 blog. The videos are from photographer Keith Loutit and definitely kept me up much longer than I wanted. [...]

For some reason, I find this video super hilarious
The monster truck is like a little child that wont behave, and the bulldozer is the frustrated parent :p
I’m not sure I understand the technique though. Is it like stop motion? Did the photographer shoot it frame by frame? If so, that’s a lot of shutter release button action!

Almost looks like something that would be on Robot Chicken.

I can’t believe no one got killed in all this. It is quite wonderful though.

That is seriously one of the most AMAZING videos I’ve ever seen. Love how he’s using Tilt-Shift for time-lapse. I had to watch all of his videos and think that they’re all insane! Thanks for sharing, seriously!!!
