March 14, 2013 at 12:26 pmI would have a really hard time finding albums based on the color of the spine.

March 14, 2013 at 10:42 pmI found a used 4-column set of these shelves (different brand, same shelving) recently and am very happy with the whole system. It holds audio gear in one room and clothes in another. The versatility of arrangement is the biggest advantage in my opinion. Plus they’re beautiful in form and function.
I needed a few more parts and ordered them from the Los Angeles Vitsoe location and the experience was impressive. I wouldn’t hesitate to do business with them again.

March 18, 2013 at 1:04 pmWow! “Things Organized Neatly”… isn’t that just another way of saying “Design” ?
Looks like I know how I’m spending my next 30 minutes or so.

March 18, 2013 at 3:31 pmif I want to find the song ‘landslide’ by fleetwood mac I have to remember that I put it in the white-colored album spines of the fall of 1983 pile but didn’t give it to them for personal reasons.

March 18, 2013 at 3:42 pm@NICK ROBINSON – I guess in this case it could be considered “interior design,” but most of that blog is literally things organized neatly, like this:

@DAVE – yeah, the color coding works well for colored spines, not so much for blacks and whits… in this case at least. I guess if you have huge red Profile collection it would be a fail too.

March 19, 2013 at 10:15 amMax,
What is the name of the other Vitsoe compatible shelving?
Max says:
March 19, 2013 at 10:31 amDePadova. I’m not sure if they are still in production. Vitsoe claims to have the worldwide exclusive, but I emailed DePadova and weeks later they replied mentioning a USA retailer. Personally, I would stick with Vitsoe due to better pricing and way better customer service. I had Vitsoe spare parts delivered from England before I ever got a response from DePadova. Plus they included extra hardware and a cool custom spacing/leveling tool.

March 19, 2013 at 10:52 amThe company that makes the shelves, Vitsoe, has some fantastic pics on thier web page. More interesting than the Things Organized Neatly page in my opinion…
