SchoolOf7Bells + Shigeto + Zomby + Mark E

Posted by Jakub

Ben and Alley of School Of Seven Bells debut their first single from their upcoming album Ghostory in March 2012 with a goosebump giving track full of passion, made me wonder what should really be at the top of the pop charts. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. DOWNLOAD HERE.

Shigeto just released an EP exclusive on drip.fm (Ghostly Music Subscription service), it includes this gem that has drum work that puts him out of reach of the rest of the musician friends in his genre, …have you got to the second half of it yet? am I right? holy… damn it! piano man too right? 2012 Shigeto is gonna rip off the beat worlds head and boot it over the moon, real drums sir real drums.

Okay Zomby you made it onto our favorite label 4AD and lets see what you can do…i’m into it, mostly because I love Sega Genesis and recognize the sounds that I adored.

Jacques Renault definitely gets a dancefloor going in Brooklyn, I see it happen month after month non-stop, so this edit was the perfect match, him and Mark E are true daytime disco masters.

That Shigeto EP is great. I like his direction lately. His new single, Lineage, from his upcoming mini LP is top notch too. I think it was Stereogum that premiered a few days ago.

you weren’t kidding about the shigeto single, great piano too. Also enjoyed the new s7b, I neglected to pick up their last album but this is sounding quite nice.

and as a sidenote, I lost many hours of my childhood to genesis and loved every minute of it

I love the Zombie, but the Shigeto is interesting too, something I wouldn’t normally listen to. Thanks for opening my ears.

That’s definitely the Reykjavik Opera House. Had the pleasure of being inside of it this past August. Stunning building.

Oh yeah, Jacques Renault too. <3 I don't mind if you delete this comment, it's mostly just to tell you to keep up the good work. Thanks again. I'll shut up now.

The School of Seven Bells cut is so smooth and uplifting. It’s like a shot of heavenly espresso.

Shigeto reminds me of Triosk. They proofed real drums and piano make an excellent ingredient for good ambient.
