Tycho – Dive LP Out Now

Posted by Scott

The new full-length Tycho album, Dive, is now available for direct download from the ISO50 Shop. This is the digital version (MP3/FLAC), CD and vinyl will be shipping November 15th.

It was a long time coming so it’s nice to be able to release it a little earlier than planned. Enjoy!

Congratulations man, it’s been a long road! Any news on whether the limited vinyl is an ISO50/Ghostly Store exclusive? Would *love* to pick it up, but I’m worried about international shipping (to the UK).

I am certainly planning on purchasing this after my work day. I just had a question in regards to the CD+Digital Pre-order…I see that it comes with an immediate digital download. I’m assuming that we’ll be able to download the full album and we’ll receive the physical copy after Nov 15th? If that is the case, how can someone NOT order it? Because I know I will be if I get an immediate digital download and a physical copy. Am I right?

-Also, please come to Detroit!

Could be people pounding the server, but neither the link from the newsletter nor the one on the blog works for me. *kicks the dirt* Suppose I’ll wait until the dust settles. Look forward to downloading. Definitely a long time coming.

Same problems, must be recent cause I was able to get as far as transferring to Paypal five minutes ago before everything ceased to work. Will keep checking back.

Outgrown merchline? Merchline kills it for me every time I order. They ship so fast! Plus they hook up the laffy taffy.

I work at Apple. I am sitting at my desk just waiting for the event to start because I know it’s going to be busy after 1. I really need to get this download started at home. It’ll be the only thing that can calm me down after all of the craziness we are about to experience.

-Those that have downloaded…How is the sound quality? I’m sure its fantastic! Just want to make sure.

I want to pre-order the vinyl. Just wondering whether I can immediately download the album after ordering, or would I need to wait for the download card that physically comes with the vinyl? Thanks.

Incredible release! I’m in love with the title track, esp the opening– it captures so much of the musical taste you’ve shared here over the years. The presence of the three singles from the inter-LP period really do help solidify the listening experience too, I was wondering about that and I was pleasantly surprised how cohesive it all sounds together, just like Past is Prologue!

Scott,

Really nice to get this early. This album is definitely a progression from the previous 2 releases ( Science of Patterns, Past is Prologue)

Almost like a really good 3 part trilogy. You can look back at the first and second and see how you have gotten to the current.

I’m sure you have learned quite a bit from each and built off of everything you’ve done thus far.

Now that the album is out, hope to see more artwork :)

Great album Scott. It’s nice to you consistently release thought provoking works and evolve in the process. Somewhat of a rarity these days. Looking forward to seeing you on stage again and whatever it is you do next.

I really am not a fan of impulse buying. At all.

But as soon as I read the email stating that Dive was released I purchased the CD right away. I have no problem paying to support an awesome project such as this. Keep making music, keep inspiring!

Excellent work. Thank you Scott. I cannot get enough of this new album. Your visuals at shows really pick up on the “explorer” theme, and I am curious if you are a general supporter of environmental causes or outdoor recreation…

Terrific work. Thanks again.

The time has finally come, and it has been a really, really long time Scott.

I will buy this without hesitation, and that perfectly realized dark sun t-shirt to boot.

At first I was confused and thought this was just a single, confusing Dive with Hours. Hence the delayed comment.

I’m glad I was just mistaken. I look forward to hearing the other side of your blood, sweat and tears.

Dive LP has arrived. Gathering some fuses and such to fix my player and amplifier. It is the first time I’ve been inspired to fix it in the 3 months since it broke. I just can’t wait. The cases are beautiful, thank you for another amazing piece of art.
