Lisbon Bound

Headed out for Lisbon tomorrow morning for the OFFF. I’ll be bringing my camera and hopefully getting some good shots. I’ve never been to Portugal, just heard a lot of good things. If it’s anywhere near as great as Barcelona I’ll be happy.

There will be an ISO50 booth at the OFFF Festival complete with shirts, prints, CDs, etc. Stop by and say hello if you’re in the area, the Mercadillo is free admission. See you out there!

I had an absolutely awesome time the last time I visited Portugal. That top shot is a shot taken of old Lisbon. Which is such a fantastic place to walk around seeing all the old buildings and there are cafés / pastelerias (pastry / bakeries) on every street corner. It’s such a great atmosphere. Did I mention good coffee everywhere? You’re gonna dig it.

I really need to upload some photos I took of my last trip.

My hometown.
Have a nice stay!
I think you’ll like it… old Lisbon is very good theme for your kind of photographs (that I like very much). I would love to see them here or if you publish them anywhere else… please give me the link!

:-)

Thanks and have a nice time here!!!

Best Regards
Sofia

Hey, Lisbon is awesome, make sure you visit the Praça do Comercio sqare and Rua Augusta, which among the old streets of Lisbon is one of the most wonderfull things I’ve seen in my whole life :P

Take a quick visit to the “A Brasileira” pastry, in the 19th century it was the meeting point of the most famous writers and painters, they have damn good Pasteis de Belém :D

A must see is the Bairro Alto nightlife, my friends say it’s one of the best nightlifes in Europe, they make small litle barrs out of every old building :D

Lisbon is an awesome city. Portugal is an awesome country. When I was based in London (I live in Sydney) doing the backpacking thing, I went to Portugal for what was meant to be a two week holiday… I ended up staying two months I loved the place so much :)
