On the road from LA to Portland right now, thanks to everyone who made it out to the Echoplex show, we had a great time playing. So we’ve got two sets of tickets up for grabs for tonight’s Tycho / Shigeto Portland show (Friday, 9/2/11, Crown Room). Just drop a line in the comments with your email and you’re entered to win. Sorry for the late notice, we’ll try to pick the winners somewhat early in the day. Good luck and see you in Portland.

If you’re on the list and didn’t receive an email from us be sure to check your trash / junk folder. Enjoy!
Jakub and I were at the opening party for the F5 Fest tonight and we were able to convince the organizers to give us some passes to give away. We’ve got four full two-day passes for the lucky winners ($480 each, make it count!). All you have to do to enter is comment on this post and be able to make it to Manhattan for the event (today and tomorrow). We’ll pick the winners later this morning. Be sure to include a valid email address in the “email” field (not in the comment itself) so we can contact you if you win. And please, only enter if you can make it to the event.
Good Luck! See you at F5
The winners in the Tycho poster + ticket giveaway (for Tycho live in SF 4/7) are in. I decided to add another winner and give everyone posters so there were a total of five posters and six tickets up for grabs. So without further adieu, the winners are:
Colin Johnston – Poster + 2 Tickets
Curtis Joseph – Poster + 2 Tickets
Zac Witte – Poster + 2 Tickets
Christian Lawrence – Poster
Cristina Dennison – Poster
Congrats to the winners, you should be receiving an email with details soon. Please get in touch (talk [at] iso50 [dot] com) if you don’t hear anything within the next few hours. Thanks to everyone for entering, hope to see you Thursday night here in San Francisco.
Note: Winners chosen using Reasearch Randomizer based on comment number.
Shelby’s Blog is running A Week of the 1972 Munich Olympic Games feature and the second installment is pretty epic. This collection of ticket passes from the ’72 games were designed by the legendary Otl Aicher and feature the classic pictograms for which the Munich games are known.
I’m not sure why, but tickets of all kinds have always piqued my interest and this set may be the best I’ve ever laid eyes on. But forget the tickets, would just love some high-res copies of these photos for framing.
