This is awesome… and brings up an interesting subject: Flash. Everyone seems to be talking up HTML5, but I’m pretty sure even if you can do this in HTML5 (which I don’t think you can) it would be way harder. Long live Flash.

sounds just like Norman Fairbanks – 7 Days Microsleep. an album with the tenori-on as the only instrument.

I haven’t seen this for a while, always get hooked when i do though. The trick is to get multiple going on different tabs, then it starts getting complex

This is my ticket to electronic stardom! But my roommates obviously don’t appreciate my genius…

I’ve played with it in several platforms… web, iphone… love it. I had to play and record it since you did it, but I’m afraid I overdid it and ended up layering some instruments over and turned it into a whole song… which defeats the minimalist purpose… but it’s here, just have to click on my name. :)

Yep, this was done a while back by Andre Michelle, an absolute wizard with Flash & audio tools. This unfortunately looks like an uncredited ripoff of his original :(

[side note]
If you are susceptible to photosensitive epileptic shock, I would not suggest attempting to light up all the boxes… it does get pretty intense.

Probably not a good idea for regular people either – like staring into the sun

I have an app like this for my iPod Touch and it was fun to play while sitting in Mongolia somewhere. Yay for efficient time wasters!

Fun. It’s interesting how there are only 14 steps but it “waits” the length of 2 steps so it ends up being 4/4 time.

OK, Pretty much badass. Never seen anything like this. The actual tones being used here are PERFECT. It’s soothing, smooth, and anyone who makes electronic could incorporate this in so many ways. Really really awesome.

good fun.

Beatwave is the free app that’s pretty darn fun for sounds like this (for those that are asking) got a few more sounds/controls (reverb!) to play with too :)
