Casino Versus Japan Reissue
Posted by Jakub
If you asked me years ago what would be my dream release to coordinate it would of been this one. Casino Versus Japan’s first album from 1998 reissued with ISO50 artwork?! I can’t think of anything better. Casino Versus Japan hasn’t released anything in nearly 6 years and having the honor last weekend to have him play a show with Tycho and now them working together on this release creatively, plus ISO50 merchandise on the way I think we will have ourselves something special that will be loved for many more years. The album consists of 23 songs split up in 4 parts full of some of the best drone and echoed guitar while the artwork by Scott has a gorgeous color palette with beautifully textured moons colliding and our friend faintly catching a wave in one of them. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on both the art and music on this one.
This release will be out on January 5th, 2010 on Moodgadget.

December 20, 2009 at 2:36 pmgood call slofu, I have the original CD as well and would love to have a reissued double LP – one part per side.
i’m glad to see these two collaborating further, it certainly worked beautifully when ISO50 was doing the visuals for cvj at LPR.
i hope this doesn’t cancel cvj’s upcoming release though..

December 21, 2009 at 6:26 amPlease, for the love of god, vinyl! This reissue *cries* for it. I don’t care how long it takes, or how much it eventually costs, I’d buy it in a heartbeat.

December 21, 2009 at 9:05 amI’m just freakin’ blown away! To have CvJ collaborating with ISO50 is pure genius. The artwork suits the music so well. I love how the artwork is presented in a sort of Vin Diagram manner with the overlapping of the two circles having this pulsing soundwave-like effect on it. I guess I’m seeing the artwork playing as a literal representation of Casino vs. Japan on one hand and Scott’s beautiful interpretation of the music in art form on the other. Really great work, I can’t wait for this!

or is the plan do do it digitally first to help fund a CD or vinyl version. a digital reissue almost isnt like a reissue at all.

August 3, 2010 at 9:49 amOnline slots are as excellent as real slots, sometimes even better. The stupendous graphics and sounds make you feel like sitting forward of real slot machine. See exactly how fortunate you are when you play Casino Slots.
Bobby Jameson says:
August 7, 2010 at 12:25 amI disagree with the comment about online slots being just as good as real slots. I am a slot tourney pro who travles the world playing slots and the reason I dont just sit at home and do it from the couch is that you have to pick slots that you have seen people play for a significant amount of time with not winning much at all, the longer you wit and wait in that person the better. If I go to an 8 hour tournament I probably only spend 3 hours actually playing and the other 5 scouting for machines.
