Loworks is a design company based in Japan. I’ve been on a wacky illustration kick recently, and it’s always fun to see what Loworks is up to. Their old site is one of my all time favorite website designs. It may not be the best design from an accessibility standpoint, but you can’t beat the creativity and absolute craziness at work. I wish it was still active, always made me happy. Computer Arts did a small feature on Loworks if you are interested.

I’d have to disagree Dummy…keep up the posts Alex. I’m loving all of these illustrations and animations.

Who you calling dummy!? I also love Alex’s posts(except for this one) – especially those featuring his own work (for the fictional film festival). I actually feel that Alex’s own work far surpasses the quality of these illustrations. I am simply disagreeing with the objectionable quality of these particular illustrations and not the artist or any of their other work. Please keep posting Alex! Just wanted to clarify – but what do I know, I’m just a dummy:)

of course his work is great and yes, better than these illustrations. but you can’t expect the man to post entries of only his work from day to day…unless he is a machine pumping out designs, which he very well could be.

I luv Loworks stuff, they have so much fun in their illustrations with some crazee little details. didn’t know they had new site – old one made me happy too :)
