Bibio + R Zone + Sonns + Jets

And we have lift off, jesus christ that might be the best Bibio song ever made.
R-Zone started as an anonymous trio that release vinyl without labeling who did what. Follow them on Soundcloud if you want to hear a sample of the other 7 releases.
Remixing The Field must be a tough task because its just soo beautiful loop based already but Sonns pulls it off nicely with in and out tones and giving each portion from the original a time to shine.
Machinedrum and Jimmy Edgar along with Jamie Lidell cover that oddball Boards Of Canada Midas Touch single.

January 15, 2014 at 2:23 pmHey Jakub, I believe that R-Zone is not actually a trio as in a band. The releases belong to different producers who release anonymously on the R-Zone series. Kinda like Workshop series, I would say. Cheers.

January 15, 2014 at 6:51 pmBoards of Canada has that Midas touch where everything they touch turns to gold. No seriously, their Hells Interface remix is the berries.

Hey check out Amestub if you’re not already familiar. I just stumbled upon their record the other day and it’s pretty solid, especially this track: http://open.spotify.com/track/7BA0eVT7hGvM2qLRLuMUk3

Just for the record, this version of Midas Touch doesn’t really have anything to do with the Hell Interface (BoC) remix. It’s just a new take on the Midnight Star original.
Really enjoyed R-Zone too. Almost felt like listening to a radio broadcast.

Couldn’t agree more. Boards’ Hell’s Interface version of Midas Touch destroys all others.
