Probably one of the most beautiful and inspiring stamp collection i’ve seen, from the color schemes to the layouts and subjects, this collection is full of gems.

April 23, 2013 at 11:10 pmUhm, sorry, but the three stamps that say “Deutsche Bundespost” are from the Federal Republic of Germany, a/k/a West Germany. All of them neither come from Berlin nor do they refer to the city. The two that say “München 1972” were issued on the occasion of the Olympic games in Munich, track and sailing, specifically. And the one in between refers to mining in the Harz region. And now back to our regularly scheduled program… :-)

April 28, 2013 at 1:09 pmthe first stamp is a great one, plain beautiful.
but it has nothing to do with berlin. it refers to the leipzig fair (south of former GDR). robotron used to be the gdr brand for calculators and computers. “mikrorechner” means microcomputer. i even had the chance to use one, a friend of still owns one!
