xativ – I know this is mirrored but I wish this was a real place.
claire0nline – This feed definitely will calm you down, you can almost hear how quiet it is.
cimek – I love the overall haze in this feed, washed out tastefully.

May 24, 2012 at 2:51 pmPlease pardon my ignorance (I’m not a designer), but what is it about symmetry that makes it so attractive? Per the first image above, it seems to add a lot to an image and I was just curious if there is a psychological or anthropological reason why. Thanks in advance for any responses.

May 24, 2012 at 3:36 pmAlthough I don’t know of any research to support it … I would imagine that the interpersonal attraction of facial symmetry could be generalized to all images.

May 25, 2012 at 2:39 amHi Iso50, thanks for finding interest in my picture :) Even though I didn’t know about your blog I know your IG feed and really like your work!
As I study Visual Communication (Graphic Design) most of my decisions is based on personal taste. Even though a mirror is a heavy manipulation, I believe that it sometimes brings out a world which we normally don’t see.
@Kevin while I don’t have any scientific research on the matter. I think we all trying to find order in chaos. We try to see the perfect world, why this might be a bit bold to say, I think it’s some truth in that.
