Clutch’d has a gallery of beautiful Porsche 917 photos up. The legendary racer celebrated it’s 40th anniversary last year. Such an amazing design, and always love the vintage racing graphics.
Had a picture of the Gulf liveried 917 standing on the Spa racetrack next to a regular Porsche 914, that little orange runabout they made. The 914 looked huge in comparison. I was stunned by the realization of how small the 917 really was. They still race a lot of these in classic events. That Sunoco CanAm spyder really looks like the later 956 with it’s boxy sides
