Perry Bible Fellowship
Posted by Jakub
I loved Perry Bible Fellowship, a while back i’d check it everyday that I knew that a new comic was coming in, I just went back to it hoping the illustrator started back up but no luck. I wish we could start a petition to get him to do more, does anyone know what he does now?

March 1, 2010 at 1:06 amAs a matter of fact I (sort of) do. Nick’s one of my good friends from high school. We actually took 2-3 art classes together every year. Thanks to my job and travels I haven’t seen him in about a year but when I last talked to him he was heading to the UK to work on a pilot for the BBC. Unfortunately that didn’t work out. I’ll have to give him a call.

March 1, 2010 at 6:30 amHe just held a speaking engagement in Rochester, NY a couple weeks ago with fellow comic guy Chris Onstad of Achewood. Supposedly he has a few ideas floating around his work bench but no definitive plans on starting up the comics again, which sucks. He’s not completely out of the game though so there’s still hope!

March 1, 2010 at 10:05 amA couple things to check out. Nick worked on the video for “Dying is Fine” by Ra Ra Riot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGuP6ZN8Qxo
“Ken’s New Specs” was animated and showed up late one night on MTV. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffkDB4awAu4
And Nick acted out “A Kiss for Joe” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wONMFVGSO2I

March 1, 2010 at 10:07 amThese comics are genius, I would waste away a lot of class time in college sifting through the archives. I even bought the book a few years ago, “The Trial of Colonel Sweeto and Other Stories” … highly recommended.

March 1, 2010 at 12:11 pmSeconded, Tyler. The book is highly recommended. It may be blasphemy, but I find myself reaching for that instead of my weighty C&H books lately when I need a printed comic fix.
