Jakub and I were at the opening party for the F5 Fest tonight and we were able to convince the organizers to give us some passes to give away. We’ve got four full two-day passes for the lucky winners ($480 each, make it count!). All you have to do to enter is comment on this post and be able to make it to Manhattan for the event (today and tomorrow). We’ll pick the winners later this morning. I’m heading to NYC to check out F5 fest this week. It runs from April 15-16th and features presentations from various speakers. The whole thing is put on by the people from Motionographer so it certainly won’t disappoint. I was able to check it out in ’09 and was pretty blown away by the presentations, can’t wait to see what’s in store this time around. Hope to see you out there.
F5 Fest
Are waaaaaay more entertaining than I’m used to. It’s good to be back in Jakub’s neighborhood again. We saw his latest signing (on his Moodgadget imprint), Body Language perform at Machinedrum’s release party tonight, which was amazing (pictured above). It’s far too late though, my schedule is now worse than it was back home where at least it’s still 3am. The shots above are from the new Elph, which has been pulling it’s weight and then some. got the Nikon ready for tomorrow though so should have something good to post, unless this rain keeps up.

I’ll be heading back to my other favorite city today for the F5 fest. I’m staying a few extra days as I haven’t had the chance to really enjoy myself the last few times I’ve been in NYC. Jakub scored some tickets to the Brainfeeder/Flying Lotus show @ Love so we’ll definitely be making it out to that. I’m brining the Nikon and the new little Canon (which, by the way, I’ve been loving) for some undercover HD video action; I’ll post up the results as they roll in.

I’ll be heading out to New York for the F5 Fest April 16-17th. I’ve known the organizers for a while and worked with them on past in events in Barcelona and New York. They’re a great group and I’d imagine this will be a very inspiring event for everyone. More info can be had at the F5 site, here’s a quick run down of what the event is about:
