Andrea Manzati is an Italian graphic designer and illustrator. This space travel series was created for Fast Company and was displayed as full page illustrations. Andrea Manzati’s style reminds me a little bit of Ben Newman and Matthew Lyons’.

I remember seeing a lot of Kilian Eng pop up on FFFFOUND years ago, we even posted about him about a year ago. I went back and checked out his Behance update, some amazing illustrations.
We’ve featured Atelier Olschinsky before for their fantastic photography and I have to bring it back and share the illustration end as well because there’s just soo much to look at and admire. After you’re finished with the work above just take a second and look over their portfolio below, it’s well worth your time.

Justin Mezzell’s geometric illustrations are fantastic. His pieces of work that include architecture, have that warm, muted color scheme reflective of a mid-century modern vibe. Also if you look closely in this image, you can see two Eames Lounge Chairs by the window.

Ben Newman is a British illustrator with such an interesting use of shape, line, color and composition. Although I have no idea what some of his pieces are even remotely trying to say, I still feel a welcoming connection. My eye is seeming worked back and forth throughout each piece playfully. The bird illustration in particular reminds me of the type of illustration you’d see in grandma’s living room from the late 40s or 50s.

These drawings are by architectural draftsman Hugh Ferriss . His work is really incredible and demonstrates a fantastic imagination (not to mention patience). I prefer the style of the lighter, more detailed images, but I enjoyed the story behind the last few charcoal renderings. They are from The Metropolis of Tomorrow, where Ferriss imagined what a future megacity might look like. Delineator of Gotham indeed.

Some really cool illustrative branding over at Matt Payson’s site. It kills me to post images that aren’t at least 450px wide and screw up the layout, but this is deserving work. Such a refreshing and well executed take on branding, I’d wear shirts of most of these.
