Portishead remixing Ride? if you’re 30 or older you’re probably rushing to press the play button or cursing the computer of why there isn’t a link to the vinyl.

Now this has to be the best Holy Other song i’ve heard, I thought the best was already made, surprisingly diverse by splitting the song into 2 portion, it could almost be 2 song, I personally love the denser first half. I have to give him credit he is taking ownership this vocal style.

New one from The Field via the great guys at Adult Swim Singles Series, this one is a bit different it breaks down into a more direct kick in the second part thats a bit more it your face, really impressed as always with what he chooses to loop.

Here’s a new one from me, I wanted a lot of audio decay like a microphone in a pouch giving it this illusion of a hidden sparkle beneath erosion, as always the motions of the melody are highly influenced by shoreline views and their movements.

Has anyone else had problems with this new player? I play songs and if I leave to another tab, or sometimes even staying in the page, the stop half way or 30 seconds into a song. And then if I play again it starts from the beginning. It’s very annoying.

The Portishead remix is making my day a lot more exciting.

@REC I have the same problem sometimes too.

thanks guys, its definitely more on the headphone music end to get the full treatment from the song. A collection of my favorites is on its way, except vinyl and a proper release closer towards the end of the year

Same as everyone.
The Heathered Pearls’ track is awesome.
The Field’s one is Epic.
So as the Portishead remix.

Thank you man.

Jakub – This track of yours is damn good. I must have listened to it 20 times in the last few days. I can’t help but imagine some hazy video clip looping over and over as I hear it. I love the recurring sound of what I picture to be an old ambulance siren. Lovely stuff. I’ll be buying it as soon as it’s released.

On a related note, it really reminds me of the soundtrack in the recent film ‘Beyond the Black Rainbow’. I know Scott posted about it a while back, so I’m hoping you’ve all seen it. If not, definitely check it out. It’ a slow-burn sci-fi head trip to say the least, but the music and visuals are top notch.

Whenever the player stops playing the track, I usually click where it stopped and it resumes from there.

Look forward to when this is fixed.

Diggin’ the new Holy Other, The Field, and Heathered Pearls tracks. Thanks for the share!

I have one suggestion with your comment system: make it ajax, so it doesn’t perform a server-side HTTP POST and lets me continue to listen to the music. Something like Disqus.

You can’t take ownership over something that someone did a long time ago. What’s with you fucking hipsters, you think everything is yours once you lay your eyes on it?

And you’re an idiot to think that anyone was listening to Portishead when they were twelve years old.

Why always so fucking retarded?

@SEAN it comes down to passion and not owning it, feel free to hide behind calling people hipsters, its doing wonders for you and others on the internet that are bitter.
