Tycho Live Photos

Posted by Scott

I just got back in from Toronto which was the last stop on the short Tycho tour we just did (I was joined by Dusty Brown and Zac Brown for the live sets). I just wanted to thank everyone so much for having us, we had a great time playing for you and couldn’t have asked for a better vibe. Our very own contributing writer Shelby White was on hand at the Seattle show to shoot with his 1D MK2. As you can see (above) the results were beautiful, he really captured the feel of the lighting that night. And that last one of Dusty is amazing!

I’m going to take a break from shows for a little bit here while I tie up some loose ends on the music front, but we’ll be hitting the road again — and making it to a lot more cities — once the album comes out and we have time for a proper tour.

Amazing photos. Saw a few live videos on youtube and I loved your sets.

I see you’ll be taking a break from shows for now, but do you think you’ll be coming back to LA when you start doing shows again?

Hope you’re having a good one Scott.

Loved the show, Scott. Thanks for making it to Seattle. It was a real treat seeing the live act and visuals after hearing the music alone. Congratulations on creating such a unique, coherent, and captivating mood in both the visual and audio spaces.

Can’t wait for the next tour. NYC show was awesome. I love Dusty’s antics on stage and you guys just tore it up. I was geeking out the whole time.

Your set at the Triple Door in Seattle was amazing. Loved Dusty’s energy too. Did you have someone tending to your visuals or did you have control over them on-stage too? It’s wonderful to see your graphic and audio work come together in a live context like that.

You played, what, three new tracks in Seattle? They sounded incredible. Yours is definitely my most anticipated album right now.

Keep up the good work, and kindly come by Denver if you have the chance. Some day, somehow, maybe Red Rocks? That would be too good.

Amazing photos, I absolutely love the darkness and mystique in the third one. Keep up the good work Shelby.

When you go tour again I suggest you make the trip to Norway again, maybe this time in Oslo? (yes please).

Been neglecting my normal perusing of the blog lately, which is unfortunate because look at the great stuff I’ve been missing! Anyhew, great shots from what looks like was a great show…hopefully you’ll make a stop in Portland when you get back out on the road again and I can see it for myself :)

I never got a chance to see you in California while I lived there for the past 24 years of my life.

Now I live in Nashville.

Come on out here and I’ll make sure there’s a crowd to greet you!
