First track is incredible.

Ulrich is fantastic. The moment I heard his stuff several years ago, he became one of my favorites. “Goodbye” was fantastic, so I can’t wait for more from him. “Strangely Isolated Places” is definitely my favorite from him.

I heard the same thing about Arovane; he dismantled his studio after making his last album Lilies. Such a shame.

I agree with Shelby there should be more of these posts, this stuff is amazing [it gets me through the day!] :)

Now after listening to that first track a few times it toooootalllllly reminds me of Vangelis’ soundtrack for the movie Antarctica in a weird way. Check out the tune Theme from Antarctica and see if you get where I’m coming from.

Great post, but they always are! Schnauss and Arovane, two of my all time favorites. Maybe you’ll like Sense, Kettel and Secede too? The latter are two dutch composers – I’m not biased ;)

two of the four artists produce work that has lulled me to sleep and composed my nerves from the abyss: life for some time now. arovane has been extremely influential. i do hope there continues to be music done by arovane. ‘tides’ was my first, ‘lilies’ – amazing…Ulrich, you’re a genius..always a pleasure to listen to your timeless work.
