If you want to sound *just like* those ” keys ” you sort of hear in the back of Like Treasure – it’s a guitar – you should check out Native Instruments, I’m 150 % sure Editors have used their software called Guitar Rig on this one. I’ve been using it for a few years now and it’s pretty cool. Add the ” Psychedelay ” to your rig, turn the pitch up by 12 and this is what you’ll get !

i like it a-slott, but of all the tunes i have by him, that particular one to me is drenched in flying lotus’s style. i’m not sayin’ that to call him a biter or whatever, just sayin’…it’s veeery lotus-y.

I’ve heard this editors new album and think this is the only salvageable track. I loved “The Back Room” when it came out, but have been really disappointed at the direction they have taken since. such a shame, they were really promising. I agree with Alex, the Mike Slott track is pretty cool.

Mike Slott track is tight, was so cool to meet him at CMJ, seems like a really nice dude. Isn’t this off the Producer split with Dabrye?

Editors sound for me like a mix between Joy Division and The Sound : dark, melodic and a [little] hopeless. Good to ear like White Lies, for cold fall evenings !

Love the Mike Slott track. The Heralds of Change stuff he did with Hudson Mohawke is worth checkin out aswell
