not really a fan of any of these. Where did the really chill vibe with music selection go? It's like the old vibe is gone and a new generation of music is placed on this site. I guess, there is someone new on this blog choosing songs now. I used to come here just to explore new music, but it's not the same. This is all over the place and 90% of it is not that chill like it used to be. Oh well.

I got the High Times tape. It's great to have something cool to listen to in my car. It takes me to a really ambiguous place in time because I'm listening to new music that sounds old on an old medium in an old car, but somehow there is a feeling of the future. Maybe it's the way the music is produced. The glitchy, hip-hop beats.

Washed Out = best new artist of the yr, hands down in my book

I was reading a thread on WATMM where everyone was talking all kinds of smack on HudMo, and then someone finally came in and held him down, I was gonna create an account and do it myself if I had to. I too can see this actually doing well at top 40 levels of exposure, but I also seeing it getting completely compromised at the hands of the non-musical decision-makers at that level.
