In my eyes, Doves are definitely better than Coldplay, and yes, should be bigger. I've been listening to that Autolux album for years now. I'm really hoping they put out some new stuff soon. I can't believe it didn't blow up that year. The only thing I would change about it: Make the last tune, zither, the first track. makes for a wonderful prelude to what's coming. The first time i saw them was in this tiny little venue in Manchester (England) and it was unbelievable. The sound was dark and dirty and the band were really intense with a lot of crowd surfing going on plus Farris (Lead Singer) started to climb the plumbing which was on the ceiling haha. Overall they were amazing and a must see band. Do whatever you can to see them!.
