These leaked shots of Olympus’ new, vintage styled, micro four thirds shooter popped up on Engadget today. Pretty slick, with the old school range finder and everything. Looks like the body might be plastic though, would love to see this in black aluminum with the tan grip.

It looks beautiful but way too expensive. The lenses are limited, just look at the full four thirds standard.

I’ve been following the specs too and it looks like it’s all metal and priced more around $800. Tempting.

    Wow, camera looks really slick.

They are available on Amazon today.

$900 is too expensive? No offense, but are you people expecting something for nothing? That’s cheap compared to alternatives! This isn’t a point and shoot people, you can change the lens.

The case is Stainless Steel by the way. I wish they had an all black version though. To me, all metal body, interchangeable lenses (+ comes with a lens), 12.3mp, big screen, retro styling = awesome. I would buy this over a $800 Canon Rebel any day.

Heck, buy a four thirds adapter and attach some Leica glass. I mean, what are you people expecting? Geesh…
