Ah man. I had that T610 too back in the day. What great phone. Sorry just had to commiserate. If only there was something that small and sturdy and super.

iPhone. Yeah I’ll get one eventually. It’s the best bet it seems.

man, i WANT an iphone so badly. i know if i had it i would use it. and we develop web sites for mobile devices at my work, too.

…however, i have to say, my super bare-bones Sanyo S1 is really all the phone i NEED. no mp3, no camera. just bluetooth. love this thing. so many clunky flip phones with all this junk i don’t need out there…this little candybar phone was a breath of fresh air.

…that being said, i’ll probably switch to an iPhone eventually anyway.

I would recommend the Blackberry Bold, I think it has all the useful features of an iPhone without the useless bits.

I personally love the look of the HTC Diamond, I think it’s the hottest phone out on the market. So corporate, edgy and modern. Sex with a battery essentially.

I’ve memorized T9 on my phone so well that i can text people without ever looking at the screen, one handed, while i’m driving – tactile keypad baby!

Avoid the Sony X1, I had high hopes for it and they went and put Windows mobile on it. A terrible OS for a phone and especially bad for a touchscreen interface.

I used the Nokia E71 for a little while and really liked it. It was slim, quick and well constructed. I never got much use out of the keyboard though and found it surplus to requirements. I’ve been using the E65 for quite some time but it wouldn’t have lasted nearly as long without SkyeQuikey, an invaluable little program that should be built into every phone.

I’ve put it off, but come June, I’ll probably invest in an iPhone. I still don’t think it’s the ideal solution for a phone, but gosh darn it, they’re neat.

Best phone I’ve ever owned was the Nokia 6230. Solid, fast, battery lasted forever and it was always reliable. I’d still be using it if I wasn’t afraid of being mocked openly on the street. My fragile ego just wouldn’t be able to handle it.

I used to have that sony ericsson and it wasn’t half bad and pretty small.

the bang and olufson looks nice but some things from the site…”move with your finger, which triggers a built-in motor that opens the shell slowly and gracefully.” opening and closing is such a vital action for a phone and it needs to be quick, I could see the this being a terrible feature
