New Tycho Song For SF Show Tonight

Posted by Scott

ghostly451
The Ghostly 10 year show is tonight (Friday – 3/6) and I wanted to debut a new track I’ve been working on during the set but wasn’t sure if I would have a live version complete by today. I’ll be cutting it close but I think I can get it wrapped in time so I should be playing it towards the end. I also just got the official, updated set times:

10-1030 Christopher Willits
1030-1110 The Sight Below
1110-1200 Deru
1200-1245 Lusine
1245-130 Tycho
130-225 Michna
225-315 Kate Simko
315 – 400 Eliot Lipp

I will post the LA times when I get them, should be going on around 7pm for that one (Sunday, early show). I’ve got some new visuals prepared as well so it should be a good one. Hope to see you all out!

How’s about a little taste and upload to the website when you done with the gig please. Like you did with Cascade. Keen to hear some variation. I can probably murmur the whole of Past is Prologue right now.

Scott, I hope you have a great show tonight. I was planning on driving from Portland down to LA to check out the show then I realized that its a 21+ venue. When will you be coming to Portland? I mean come on the winner of your snowboard lives here and there are many people that would love for you to come up. Well have a great time and hopefully we can share a stage in the near future.

Tonight’s show was fantastic. I passed a message along, but in case details were missed: USF is having a CS Pizza night at Pizza Orgasmica on Clement Wed night around 7pm or so. Come out and talk CS, design, or music setups and have a beer. Bring your brother! Hit me up if you need more info.

The show was so badass…talked to jakub for a minute and he told me to grab as many shots of tycho as I could, so I’ll share those asap…also recorded video of the new song if anyone is dying to hear it

Hey so Iv never been to one of your shows before, but Im interested in what kind of visuals you use during the set? I saw some show footage on youtube, but Im curious as to where these images come from and what their relation is to the music? And what program(s) do you use to make the animation?

Ok, thanks to Rent, I’ve gotten a taste of this new song, 5:10 worth of it to be exact. Scott, I check this blog of yours every day, and you’ve inspired me in more ways than you can imagine, and thank you for that. I like to think I’m one of your biggest fans, especially of your music, but also just as much of your photography and graphic design work, which is unbelievable by itself.

The main reason for this posting however is to literally beg you to upload this new song. I’de be more than happy to buy it, as I’ve purchased all of your other albums, and I need this one as well, as I’m sure other’s do too :)

Anyway, I know your extremely busy, and it takes time to do these things, but please, I’m begging you, upload this new track, please? I’ll be waiting patiently, but eagerly :)

The show in SF was so amazing and really fun! It was a great excuse to make a weekend trip to such a beautiful city.

From talking to people apparently there were actually quite a few of us Seattleites who had made the trip down for the show.

@paul-
the new song is a single due out on ghostly (as soon as I finish the studio version) in the next couple months. there will also be a few remixes.
