I’m in love with these pictures and these items.

But you’re absolutely right, I’d be too occupied with keeping the environment devoid of any clutter or irregular lines to really be productive at anything other than obsessing over dust particles and the orientation of magazines on a table.

That is a damn sexy chair. Anyone know anything about it? What is it about designers and chairs?

Dieter Rams is so great. That empty bookshelf is a bit much though!

Hehe, this made me laugh. I’ve tried to be that tidy, still hasn’t happened. I still have shit laying around my desk. I do find clutter distracting at times though.

Man, Joe Clay, I think I’ve have seen that chair before, or one very similar, ‘cept it was in a walnut finish. Wish I could remember the brand.

Wow yeah that chair is amazing. Suddenly my Office Depot “Executive” chair does not seem so nice anymore :(

As far as that work environment goes, I’ve always thought I would work best with a pristine setup like that, but I’ve never been able to test it. When I clean up, it usually only lasts for about 20 minutes before things go crazy again

I think there is an inversely proportionate relationship between workspace minimalism and output minimalism. I’ve been told by numerous people that I’ve worked for and with that I’m too much of a minimalist, however if you were ever unfortunate enough to see my office, you would see that I work in complete squalor.
