Epilogue:Terrabyte
I just got home from Terrabyte after a nice drive today; LA > Sacto > SF, needless to say I am exhausted so I’ll keep it short. Terrabyte was amazing as usual; thanks to everyone who came out and made it a success and thanks to the Arboretum and Kyle and Ryan from Subtractive for making it all happen. I also want to apologize for the delay getting started, as some of you noted, we had some technical difficulties starting out, but things smoothed out once things got rolling. I was pretty busy most of the time so didn’t get many good photos this time around, some of the few I got are below. Bijan has also posted some photos from the show here.

I found some early videos from the show on YouTube, below is a shot of some of the visuals. I didn’t realize this girl (video below) had been dancing in the visuals until after the show was over, pretty cool to see this now. There is also a video of the new single being played; the audio is really bad and you can’t see much, but it’s a small taste at least: link. There are a couple more from the same person up here as well.

Great to meet you finally Scott. The Arboretum was an awesome way to kick back a Sunday afternoon. Awesome tunes and atmosphere made for a kick ass outing. I think the thing that really tied the show together were all the peacocks running around everywhere. I’ve been trying to post pictures but it ain’t happenin’. Let’s see if this comment posts… if it does… I’ll try again with the pictures.

Just wanted to say that this was a really great event and I had an excellent evening at such a beautiful place. I’m really glad that I decided to go(even though I had tons of design homework), you’re performance and Dusty Brown’s were amazing! The entire event with all of the beautiful plants, trees, and animals were a huge inspiration to me.
I also was able to pick up a few posters and your friend Steve was a really cool guy.
The only thing that I was a bit curious about was the “West Nile” warning the Arboretum had, did anyone else notice that?
Anyways great show Scott, hope to see some more of your sets in the future.

He is shooting on digital, there is a post(http://blog.iso50.com/?cat=13) in which he explains the editing process in PS to give the lomo cross pross feel.
For me(I use Aperture) I change the temperature and adjust the level bars to my liking and it usually looks pretty authentic, really gives the photos a boost.

P.s. looking forward to the new single… sounds like there’s an intense bass hit at around the 30 second mark, much like when the bass drops in Adrift. Love it

yeah, that poor camera’s mic got a bit overloaded. I assure you that the original recording doesn’t have such an overpowering bassline.

as andrew said, the post effects on those pics are mostly color balance (through all three ranges) and curves.

You really captured the Terrabyte vibe, especially with the last shot. If any one image were to encapsulate the experience it would have to have a sun based lens flare

woo! i made it into the first two pics (i’m the one in the light shirt and grey hat, with my GF in dark-blue). that was a fun night, with the peacocks running around, and beautiful scenery to enjoy while listening to the tunes. i wish the arboretum had events like that more often. anyway, good work scott. keep it up, and take care man.

YEsss! I made it into the pics… im the only Mexican (as my friend described me) (im not at all mexican, i’m central american) anyhow im in the back wearing red which seems like im looking straight into the cam and once again in the second pic showing my Canon strap…. HEY SCOTT… I have a few pics that i took that evening if you need some to use at any time. Go ahead visit (my)space i will leave this comment again in urspace… Thanks… by the way those are excellent pics… ur skills are a great inspiration!
