Brooklyn’s Computer Magic is just one girl that makes some great lo-fi indie synth material, this song Electronic Fences makes me think if Nite Jewel had to do a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s I’m On Fire it would come out sounding something like this.

This beautiful track by Oneohtrix Point Never has been on repeat more than any other song this year, its like playing Drexciya underwater at a slower tempo or maybe i’ve just discovered a new level in Zelda and its getting serious.

Joining Keepaway and Prince Rama I think Truman Peyote is another band I can’t wait to see live up close, The Panda Bear sound is influencing some really good music.

I don’t know what to think about this new Röyksopp, maybe i’m not ready for this type of relaxation yet this summer from a song, your thoughts?

Honestly I think I’m not ready for a relaxed Royksopp this summer either. This song is probably something good to be playing during a nice cold day, while being inside your home with some coffee.

Jakub you’re always posting some of the most amazing music. I can’t imagine how full your itunes is full of great jams.. I say you screen cap it and do a post on it :-)

Hope everyone is having a good day!

hey last winter I saw truman peyote play some dude’s apartment in ann arbor.. the sound quality on the EP I bought is a little distracting, but they do in fact have a good live show. chill guys, too

@Bryant – hah thanks, I don’t know how it would all fit. I’m actually working on writing about digital retailers that help highlight good releases week by week which totally help me find new music

@Jakub – That’s really awesome, well I’m always coming back everyday on this site to check out your posts on music.
I’ve been waiting for the new Playlist, crossing my fingers everyday for it to be up. I’m not exactly sure if you or Scott is in charge for the playlist but get it up soon please :-)

I’m definitely enjoying this Royksopp, do you know if this is from the yet released Senior?

I can dig the new Royksopp, it sounds enough like Royksopp I suppose, I always did like that chill loungey style they had. Maybe it’s not the most pertinent sound for this summer, but I dig this tune regardless.

Dammit, Jakub. Such nice music, so hard to find. But then again, maybe that’s a good thing?

Now I can only hope to get that music on something portable for my upcoming road-trip through central/south eastern europe.

Keep it up. Your posts are part of the signal in the noise (of the internet) for me. ty for that.
